Brook Guitars

Brook Guitars have been handcrafting acoustic guitars from their workshop on the edge of Dartmoor for over 25 years. Known for their attention to detail and use of beautiful tonewoods, they create instruments that are as individual as the people who play them. Their guitars are sold all over the world, with each one built to order by Simon, Andy and Jack.

I spent time with the team at Brook Guitars to create a short documentary film about their process — from selecting tonewoods to shaping and finishing each instrument by hand. Alongside the video, I photographed them at work in their Devon workshop, capturing the tools, techniques and quiet focus that go into every guitar they build.
